Body Shop High School Ministry

Grades 9-12

Our name comes from the New Testament in the Bible, particularly Romans 12:5, which reads, "...We are all parts of His [Christ's] one body, and each of us has different work to do. And since we are all one body in Christ, we belong to each other, and each of us needs all the others." It is the Body Shop's mission to take these parts of the body, work on them, make them like new, and insert them into their proper places in order for that body to function properly in Christ.

We are not here to be a clique of "religious judges," condemning those whom we do not believe to be in compliance with God's Word. We are, however, here to help students understand more about God and his Love for each one of us. We want students to establish a relationship with God through Christ and to allow His spirit to work through them to reach others in order to show them the same love they experience from this relationship each and every day.
